Joshua Magden is managing member of Videlicet Partners, LLC, an Austin, Texas-based consulting effort which conducts due diligence and analysis on insurance opportunities, working to build strategic partnerships with carriers and platforms, and researching market conditions with an emphasis on specialty segments in healthcare and health insurance in Texas.

Josh’s background includes over 14 years acting in different advisory, capital markets and financial services roles.  Previously, Josh was a vice president at Sage Advisory Services, where he worked with admitted carriers, risk retention groups and various self-insured entities to build investment portfolios supportive of liability funding needs and regulatory requirements. Before moving to the Austin area, Josh served governmental and nonprofit issuers in Colorado as an investment banker with George K. Baum & Company, where he structured municipal debt for clients, guiding them through the rating agency process and the debt elections that often preceded issuance.  He worked for Principal Financial Group and Kirkland & Ellis prior to graduate school.
